Hamilton, N.Y. – Sophomore sprinter
Bethia Nivens (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) recorded two fourth-place finishes to lead the Le Moyne College women's indoor track team to a fourth-place finish at Colgate University's Class of '32 Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Sanford Field House. Junior
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) tallied a pair of top-five finishes, including one program record, to lead the men's team to a sixth-place finish.
Colgate won the women's team competition with 173.5 points. The College of Saint Rose recorded 97 points to place second, while Hamilton College was third with 90 points. The Dolphins tallied 66 points to place fourth among the 10 teams.
Delhi won the men's competition with 132.5 points, while the host Raiders placed second with 98 points. The Dolphins finished sixth among the 11 teams with 49 points.
Nivens tallied her first fourth-place finish of the day in the 60-meter dash with a Northeast-10 Conference Championships-qualifying time of 8.28 seconds. She then earned five points by placing fourth in the 200-meter dash with an NE10-qualifying time of 27.12 seconds.
Sophomore
Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) registered the team's best finish of the day on the track by placing third in the 800-meter run in a program-record and NE10-qualifying time of 2:25.44. Classmate
Rachael Miller (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) set the previous record of 2:26.48 at Ithaca last week.
Junior
Bella Sterly (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) also recorded a third-place finish with an NE10-qualifying toss of 34-feet, 0-inches in the shot put.
Junior
Meg Hubregsen (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) also registered two fourth-place finishes. In the sand, she recorded a program-record leap of 15-feet, 11.5-inches in the long jump to place fourth. On the track, she placed fourth in the 400-meter dash with an NE10-qualifying time of 1:03.25.
Miller placed fifth in the one-mile run in 5:34.53 to earn four points.
Sophomore
Val Pirro (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) turned in two top-six finishes on the day. She registered a leap of 30-feet, 0.75-inches to place fifth in the triple jump. She placed sixth in the 400-meter dash in 1:06.21.
Freshman
Ashley Anderson (Glens Falls, N.Y./South Glens Falls) recorded a pair of sixth-place finishes on the afternoon. She turned in a time of 8.41 seconds in the 60-meter dash and then posted a time of 27.88 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
Junior
Allison Iles (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) placed sixth in the 500-meter dash in a season-best time of 1:31.51.
The Dolphins had a pair of scorers in the 3000-meter run. Freshman
Siara Clos (Syracuse, N.Y./Onondaga) placed sixth in a season-best and NE10-qualifying time of 11:17.54 and classmate
Jill Stagnitta (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) finished eighth in a season-best and NE10-qualifying time of 11:18.70.
The quartet of Miller, Hubregsen, freshman
Jordan Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) and Nivens won the 4x400-meter relay with a program-record time of 4:07.18. The same foursome set the previous record of 4:10.93 at Utica two weeks ago.
On the men's side, Civilette won the triple jump with a program-record and NE10-qualifying leap of 43-feet, 7.75-inches. He set the previous record of 43-feet, 6-inches at last year's NE10 Championships. He also placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 20-feet, 0.5-inches.
Freshman
Chris Davitt (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem) recorded the team's best finish on the track by finishing second in the 800-meter run with a program-record and NE10-qualifying time of 1:59.06. He established the previous record of 2:00.64 at Utica two weeks ago.
Freshman
Jacob Davis (Feura Bush, N.Y./Bethlehem) posted a pair of top-four finishes in the throwing events. He registered a third-place finish in the weight throw with a season-best and NE10-qualifying distance of 44-feet, 9.5-inches, the second-best mark in the program's history. He placed fourth in the shot put with a toss of 38-feet, 7.75-inches.
Sophomore
Hamza Elhabbal (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) earned three points by placing sixth in the 500-meter dash in 1:09.52, the third-fastest time of his career in the event.
Junior
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) also posted a sixth-place finish on the afternoon with a time of 4:38.89 in the one-mile run.
Sophomore
Mahamadou Jagana (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) registered an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a career-best time of 53.75 seconds, which is the third-fastest in the program's history.

Dom Battaglia (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) and
Nicholas Skakal (Lancaster, N.Y./Canisius HS) recorded a fourth-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay in 8:50.12.

Kevin O'Connor (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) and junior
Elliot Hernandez (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:38.68, the second-fastest time of the season and the third-fastest in the program's history.
The Dolphins return to action on Saturday at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
