Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College senior goalkeeper
Ben Beaury (Cohoes, N.Y./LaSalle Institute) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Beaury, who was honored by the conference for the first time this year and for the sixth time in his career, registered a 0.00 goals against average, a 1.000 save percentage, four saves and two shutouts in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He opened the week by recording two second-half saves in a 2-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Monday. He closed out the week with a save in each half on Saturday in a 3-0 victory over Lock Haven.
Through three games, all victories, Beaury has a 0.33 goals against average, a .900 save percentage and nine saves. He leads the Northeast-10 in goals against average and save percentage, while he is tied for the most wins and shutouts (2) and fewest goals allowed (1). Nationally, he ranks 11th in save percentage and 13th in goals against average.
Le Moyne (3-0), which won its 14th straight non-conference home game on Saturday, opens Northeast-10 Conference action on Tuesday against Franklin Pierce University at 3:00 p.m.
