Lancaster, Pa. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's indoor track and field teams combined for four victories at Franklin & Marshall College's Coach I Open on Saturday at Schnader Field House.
Sophomore
Eva Keohane (Brewerton, N.Y./Central Square) won the one-mile run by almost five seconds by crossing the finish line in a season-best 5:33.14.
Senior
Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) won the 800-meter run by almost two seconds with a season-best time of 2:22.93.
Junior
Jordan Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) tallied a third-place finish in the 800-meter run in a season-best 2:27.18.
Freshman
Samantha Pellegrini (Loudonville, N.Y./Colonie) turned in a sixth-place finish in the one-mile run in 5:52.42.
Freshman
Awnshae Smith (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) recorded a trio of top-seven finishes. Her best finish of the day came in the triple jump, where she registered a distance of 31-feet, 8.50-inches. She recorded a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in 10.51 seconds. She placed seventh in the 200-meter dash in 29.22 seconds.
Senior
Bethia Nivens (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) registered an eighth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.46 seconds.
Sophomore
Mollie Engle (Roscoe, N.Y./Roscoe) placed eighth in the high jump by clearing the bar at 4-feet, 6-inches.
Sophomore
Haleigh Pascual (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) finished ninth in the 800-meter run in 2:34.41.
The quartet of Pellegrini, Sloan, Mack and sophomore
Caroline St. Antoine (Longueuil, Québec/Cégep Édouard-Montpetit) won the distance medley relay in 13:13.65.
On the men's side, senior
Griffin Klein (Fair Haven, N.Y./Red Creek) registered the team's best finish of the day by winning the 800-meter run in a program-record time of 1:58.22.
Freshman
William Bilow (Chasm Falls, N.Y./Franklin) tallied a pair of top-six finishes. He registered a distance of 39-feet, 7.25-inches in the triple jump to place third. He placed sixth in the high jump by clearing the bar at 5-feet, 8-inches.
Junior
Chris Davitt (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem) recorded a fifth-place finish in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:10.52.
Freshman
Kyle VanCoughnett (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Arlington) finished sixth in the 800-meter run in 2:05.22.
The quartet of Klein, Davitt and seniors
Mahamadou Jagana (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) and
Nicholas Kattato (Cold Brook, N.Y./Poland) were edged by just 0.20 seconds for first place in the 4x400-meter relay after posting a time of 3:34.24.
The Dolphins return to the track on Friday at Hamilton College at 4:00 p.m.
