Hamilton, N.Y. – Senior
Bethia Nivens (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) had a victory for the Le Moyne College women's track and field team and junior
Chris Davitt (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem) had a first-place finish for the for the men's team at the Hamilton College Continental Invitational on Saturday at Pritchard Track.
Nivens completed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.60, which earned her the top spot, while senior
Val Pirro (Camillus, N.Y./ West Genesee) finished 11th with a time of 1:12.56.
Junior
Jordan Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) took fifth in the 400-meter dash completing the course in 1:02.50, while sophomore
Haleigh Pascual (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) placed 14th in the 800-meter event with a time of 2:31.14.
Senior
Brittney Mack (Poestenkill, N.Y./Averill Park) completed the 1500-meter race in 4:58.07, which earned her seventh place.
A pair of Dolphins placed in the top 15 in the 100-meter event. Freshman
Awnshae Smith (Scranton, Pa. /Scranton) finished 11th in 17.50 seconds and sophomore
Mollie Engle (Roscoe, N.Y./Roscoe) finished in 19.33. The pair also finished in the top 10 in the high jump as Smith came in seventh clearing 1.40 meters and Engle tied for ninth clearing 1.35 meters.
Junior
Jill Stagnitta (Liverpool N.Y./ Liverpool) crossed the finish line in 14th place in the 3000-meter steeplechase at 14:14.80.
A 4x400 meter relay a team of Nivens, Pascual, Pirro and Smith finished fifth in 4:18.51.
In the 4x800 meter relay, the Dolphins also finished fifth as Mack, Sloan, freshman
Samantha Pellegrini (Loudonville, N.Y./Colonie) and freshman
Julia Eichenlaub (Elmira Heights, N.Y./ Thomas Edison) finished in 10:32.19.
On the men's side, Davitt won the 3000-meter steeplechase by nearly eight seconds when he completed the course in 9:41.93.
Freshmen
Jacob Schmid (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne) took second place in the 400-meter hurdles while crossing the finish line at 55.14. Sophomore
Jordan Devereaux (Syracuse, N.Y./Solvay) came in 12th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.59.
Freshman
William Bilow (Chasm Falls, N.Y./ Franklin) took ninth in the high jump clearing the bar at 1.74 meters.

Nicholas Kattato (Cold Brook, N.Y./Poland) and freshman
Anthony Pauli (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed sixth in 3:32.99.
