2021-22 MEN’S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Syracuse, N.Y. – The 2021-22 Le Moyne College men's basketball team is slated to open its regular season on Tuesday, November 16, as the team's schedule was released on Friday afternoon.

"We feel as though we have one of the most challenging schedules in the country," said third-year head coach Nate Champion '14. "Our non-conference schedule is full of top teams in the country to go with our conference schedule, which is always tough in the NE10. We are very excited for these opportunities to take steps forward with our program and also looking forward to having three home non-conference games as well. This presents a tremendous opportunity for our program and will prepare us for the conference season."

The 26-game schedule will feature 13 home contests and 13 games on the road, including 19 games against Northeast-10 Conference foes and seven against non-conference opponents. The Dolphins will also play a previously-announced exhibition game at Syracuse University on Monday, November 1.
 
The Dolphins kick off the regular season at perennial top-25 foe Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, November 16. The Dolphins welcome the University of New Haven on Saturday the 20th to kick off their home schedule and Northeast-10 Conference action.
 
The Dolphins travel to Albany on Tuesday the 23rd to take on The College of Saint Rose in their first road NE10 matchup of the year. They then head to Philadelphia on Sunday the 28th to take on the University of the Sciences.

The begins the month of December welcoming Adelphi University on Wednesday, December 1.

After heading to Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday the 4th, the Dolphins host three non-conference opponents in nine days. Daemen College, which won the abbreviated East Regional last year, comes to town for the first time in 18 years on Monday the 6th. Three days later, Mercyhurst University makes its first visit to Ted Grant Court, where it is winless in 10 all-time appearances, in 28 years. The homestand is capped off by Lake Erie College making its first-ever trip to Syracuse on Tuesday the 14th.

The Dolphins close out their non-conference schedule with a trip to Lakeland, Florida for the Mocs Christmas Classic. The Dolphins take on the host, Florida Southern College, on Saturday the 18th and then play Saint Leo University on Sunday the 19th.

The team returns to NE10 action to start January with a New Year's Day affair at American International College.

The Dolphins return to Ted Grant Court on Wednesday the 5th against Pace University. Three days later, they host Stonehill College.

Following a matchup at Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday the 11th, the Dolphins have back-to-back games at home. They welcome Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday the 15th and Saint Michael's College on Wednesday the 19th.

The Dolphins play their next two games on the road, Saturday the 22nd at Saint Anselm College and Wednesday the 26th at Bentley University.

The team closes out January and starts off February at Ted Grant Court. They host Assumption University on Saturday, January 29th and take Saint Rose on Wednesday, February 2.

The Dolphins visit West Haven, Connecticut on Saturday the 5th to face New Haven and then heads to Adelphi on Tuesday the 8th.

The 'Phins close out their home regular season slate with consecutive games at Ted Grant Court. Southern Connecticut makes the trip to town on Saturday the 12th and American International comes to campus on Wednesday the 16th.

Following a bye on Saturday the 19th, the Dolphins finish off the regular season at Pace on Tuesday the 22nd.

The Northeast-10 Conference Championship will once again feature a 10-team field with all contests being hosted by the higher seeded squad. The first round is scheduled for Friday, February 25, the quarterfinals are scheduled for Sunday, February 27, while the semifinals take place on Wednesday, March 2 and the championship game is slated for Saturday. March 5.
