Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College freshman Isabella Barona (Manta, Ecuador/Talentos de Manta) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference women's tennis Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Barona, who collects the honor for the third straight week, went 5-2 between singles and doubles action last week as the Dolphins went 4-0 as a team, including 3-0 in NE10 action. She was 2-2 at first singles, including 1-2 in NE10 action against Southern New Hampshire, Adelphi and New Haven. She was 3-0 in doubles, including 2-0 in NE10 play at the No. 3 position.

Barona is off to a 11-3 start to her career, including a mark of 6-2 in dual matches. She has dual match victories at each of the first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions. She is also 7-0 in doubles action with Fernandez.
 
The Dolphins (8-0, 6-0 NE10), the only remaining unbeaten team in the NE10, are back in action on Wednesday at American International College at 2:30 p.m.
