Syracuse, N.Y. – The 2022 Fall 'Phins Phrenzy is set to take place on The Heights this Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Both Le Moyne soccer teams will be in action on Ted Grant Field, and both will be celebrating Senior Day with a special ceremony before their respective kickoffs.

There will be food trucks from Taco Cat, PB&J's Lunch Box and Carvel (There is a $5 discount on your meal if you show your Le Moyne student ID). Along with a youth soccer game at halftime, there will be on-field contests between fans.

Women's Soccer vs Adelphi Preview
The Le Moyne College women's soccer team has a tough test ahead of them on Saturday when they host the Adelphi University Panthers on Ted Grant Field at 11:00 a.m. for a Northeast-10 Conference battle, hoping to surpass American International College and Southern New Hampshire University for 8th place in the NE10 Standings.

The Dolphins are currently in 10th place with 10 points, but both AIC and SNHU are tied for 8th place, the final playoff spot in the standings, with 11 points.

AIC has already played 11 matches compared to 10 for SNHU and Le Moyne, meaning that a tie for Le Moyne on Saturday would guarantee them to at least be tied for 9th place with AIC, with an opportunity to win three more points against Pace in their regular season finale on October 26.

Ideally Le Moyne would like another upset victory over one of the top teams in the conference, similar to what they accomplished earlier this season on Ted Grant Field when they took down #25 Franklin Pierce University, 3-1.

The Panthers currently occupy 2nd place in the NE10 standings, behind Franklin Pierce, with an 8-1-1 record against conference opponents so far this season.

The Panthers only loss in NE10 action came against the Ravens of Franklin Pierce, who have won six consecutive conference contests since their loss to the Dolphins on September 27.

Adelphi is coming off back-to-back conference victories following their loss to FPU. The Panthers claimed a 2-0 win at Saint Anselm on October 15, then bested AIC on the road by a score of 2-1.

Freshman midfielder/forward Madison Apicella has been outstanding for the Panthers this year. Apicella leads the Panthers, as well as the entire Northeast-10 Conference in goals and assists with seven of each so far in 2022. Apicella has started all 14 games in her first collegiate season and has put 17 shots on goal.

Graduate forward Victoria Colatosti has provided five goals to the Adelphi cause this season, while graduate forward Alexa Mihale has tallied two goals and four assists. Sophomore forward Carly Issing has appeared as a substitute for the Panthers in 13 games so far this season, contributing two goals and three assists. Junior defender Kayla Mushorn has recorded two goals and two assists in 2022, while junior forward Maria D'Angelo has put away four goals and delivered one assist so far this season.

Graduate goalkeeper Krista Aliscio has started 12 games in goal for the Panthers, recording 29 saves, 10 wins and three shutouts. Fellow graduate goalkeeper Lydia Fraga Cordoba also remains an option in goal for the Panthers. Fraga Cordoba has allowed just one goal and accumulated 15 saves in just over 207 minutes played so far this season. Both keepers have a goals against average (GAA) below 1.0.

Le Moyne is coming off back-to-back 1-0 NE10 defeats and looking to get back on track with two games left in the regular season.

The Dolphins are 5-7-2 overall, and 3-6-1 in the NE10 with conference victories over Franklin Pierce, New Haven and Southern Connecticut State.

Senior goalkeeper Allison Moreau (Sauquoit, N.Y./Sauquoit Valley) recorded a season-high 12 saves during the team's 1-0 loss at Assumption. With four more saves this season, Moreau will surpass 200 total saves in her career, which only 12 other Le Moyne College women's soccer goalies have achieved according to the program's record books. Impressively, Moreau is only in her third full season as a Dolphin, due to the cancelation of the 2020 season, and she did not start a game in goal until the 2021 season.

Former Le Moyne Goalkeeper Kim Matus '99 is the all-time career saves record holder in program history with an astonishing 632 career saves.

Sophomore defender Hildur Unnarsdóttir (Kópavogur, Iceland/Commercial College of Iceland) leads Le Moyne in goals and assists so far this season with four of each.

Two first-year players for Le Moyne are currently second and third on the team in total points this season. Freshman forward Avery Maxam (Clinton, N.Y./Clinton) has tallied three goals and one assist, while freshman midfielder Lindsey LeBlanc (Westminster, Mass./St. Bernard's) has recorded one goal and three assists in 2022.

The last time Le Moyne's women's soccer team recorded a win over Adelphi was in October of 2010.

Kick off for the women's match against Adelphi will be at 11:00 a.m., then afterwards the men's team will take the field to battle Saint Anselm College, with kick off set for 2:00 p.m.

Le Moyne Men's Soccer vs Saint Anselm Preview
The Le Moyne College men's soccer team's two most recent performances on Ted Grant Field have been sensational.

The 'Phins looked dominant nine days ago when they bested non-conference opponent Daemen University by a score of 4-1. It was an impressive bounce back win after a disheartening 3-2 loss on their home field to University of New Haven.

Le Moyne delivered perhaps their best and most important 90 minutes of the season on Wednesday when took down #21 Adelphi University on Ted Grant Field by a score of 3-0.

Tom Henne (Hamburg, Germany/Gymnasium Buckhorn) who has been in great form for Le Moyne as of late, recorded the first goal against Adelphi via a penalty kick. Redshirt-sophomore forward Noah Sperduto (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira) scored his first goal of the season to double Le Moyne's lead against the Panthers, and then Stuart put a cherry on top of the huge win with incredible footwork in the box leading to a highlight-reel goal.

Le Moyne is tied for 8th place in the NE10 standings alongside Bentley University, with the top eight teams earning a spot in the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

Saint Anselm, Le Moyne's opponent on Saturday, is only one spot ahead of Le Moyne in the standings with 12 points. Unfortunately for the Hawks, Saturday's match against the Dolphins will be their final game of the 2022 regular season, meaning that they have one last chance to add to their conference point total.

If Le Moyne claims a victory over the Hawks, it will vault them ahead of Saint Anselm into 7th place, putting them in a great position to qualify for the conference postseason with one game remaining against Assumption University on the 25th.

Cameron Stuart (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) is far and away the leader in points for the Dolphins this season, tallying five goals and four assists in 14 appearances including 10 starts so far during his freshman campaign.

The Dolphins won Wednesday's game without Max Buesch (Odenthal, Germany/Gymnasium Odenthal/Bethany Lutheran) and Alessandro Otte (Suderburg, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen/Hochschule Wismar), who have both recorded three goals this season.

Graduate center midfielder Terence Crysler-Howard (Toronto, Ontario/Toronto Prep School) returned to the Le Moyne starting lineup against Adelphi after missing two games in the middle of the month.

Graduate goalkeeper Josh Mahr (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) will once again be available for selection in the Le Moyne lineup after completing a short suspension stemming from the red card he received at the end of the New Haven match.

In Mahr's absence, freshman goalkeeper Matthew Gera (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) was solid in goal for the 'Phins. In three starts Gera tallied a combined 12 saves to go along with two wins, including a shutout victory over #21 Adelphi.

The Saint Anslem Hawks are currently 4-6 in the NE10 and most recently suffered a 5-0 loss to #1 Franklin Pierce University, who Le Moyne played to a 0-0 tie on September 20.

Prior to the defeat against the Ravens, the Saint Anselm College men's soccer team recorded a 2-1 win at AIC on the 15th.

Senior forward Jackson Bukunt and graduate forward Zach Elliot lead the team in points with nine each. Bunkunt has tallied four goals and one assist, while Elliot has accumulated three goals and three assists.

Senior defender Michael Fortin has contributed one goal and three assists while starting all 14 games so far this season for the Hawks.

Senior goalkeeper Brian Underhill has played every single minute in net this season for Saint Anselm, compiling 86 saves and three shutouts.

Le Moyne has won the last two meetings between the two men's soccer program, both by a score of 1-0. The two sides played to a 0-0 draw after two overtime periods in October of 2018, and the season before that Le Moyne came away with a 2-1 victory over the Hawks on Ted Grant Field.

The Fall 'Phins Phrenzy will occur from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. within the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex

There will be food trucks in the Athletic Complex parking lot from Taco Cat, PB&J's Lunch Box, as well as Carvel. For Le Moyne students, there is a $5 discount on your meal if you show your Le Moyne ID.

There will be a youth soccer game at halftime, as well on-field contests between fans.
