Mansfield, Mass. – Four Le Moyne College men's soccer players have earned NE10 All-Conference honors due to their play during the 2022 regular season.
For the third consecutive season, center midfielder
Tom Henne (Hamburg, Germany/Gymnasium Buckhorn) has been named to an NE10 All-Conference Team. Henne was named to the NE10 Third Team as well as the All-Rookie Team following his first regular season as a Dolphin in 2019, and he was once again a Third Team All-Conference selection following Le Moyne's 10-6 regular season campaign in 2021.
As a co-captain in 2022, Henne has tallied three goals and one assist, and was instrumental in helping the men's soccer program qualify for its 21
st consecutive NE10 Conference Championships.
After starting 13 games and playing a total of 1,107 minutes during the regular season, Henne has been named to the 2022 Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team as a midfielder.
Jack Goodrich (Kelsall, England/King's School Chester) and
Ben Quigley (Perth, Scotland/Community School of Auchterarder/University of Stirling) both played their first season with the Dolphins in 2021, and have both been important contributors from day one of their Le Moyne careers.
Both defenders played over 1,100 minutes as part of Le Moyne's back line in 2021, and in 2022 they have both earned a spot on the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team.
Last season as a redshirt freshman Goodrich recorded two goals and two assists in 16 games started to earn a spot on the NE10 All-Rookie Team. The Kelsall, England native has once again tallied two goals and two assists during 16 starts so far in 2022. Goodrich has seen more action than any other Le Moyne player this fall, accumulating 1,379 minutes played on the pitch with at least one game remaining this season.
Second on the team in minutes played is Quigley, who has been consistently solid at center back for Le Moyne throughout the season. Quigley has recorded 1,362 minutes of action this season and has started all 16 games that he's played in.
After an outstanding freshman campaign,
Cameron Stuart (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) has been named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team. Considering the impressive statistics put forth by the first-year forward, Stuart had a case to be included in one of the three All-Conference teams.
The Fulton, New York native was tied for 10
th in the NE10 in points with 16. Stuart's point total was second best among rookies in the conference, directly behind Assumption's Gustaf Vilgot Albert who leads all NE10 freshmen with 18 points.
With team-leading tallies of six goals and four assists through 16 appearances in 2022, Stuart has recorded the most points in a single season by a Le Moyne men's soccer freshman since 2016 when Salar Faryar compiled 14 goals and two assists in 21 starts during his first collegiate campaign on The Heights.
Two key wins over #21 Adelphi University and Saint Anselm towards the end of the regular season vaulted Le Moyne into the NE10 postseason, and a gritty effort from the Dolphins in the quarterfinals at SCSU on Saturday earned them a conference tournament victory and a spot in the final four of the NE10 Championships.
The No. 7-seeded Le Moyne College men's soccer team will compete against the No. 6 seed Adelphi University Panthers on Wednesday in Garden City for a spot in the NE10 Championships Final.
