Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College Dolphins will host the Pace University Setters on Saturday for a 3:00 p.m. men's basketball matchup on Ted Grant Court in what will be the first Northeast-10 Conference contest of the 2022-23 campaign for both teams.

Saturday, November 19 will mark the first Ted Grant Court Dolphins basketball doubleheader of the winter season, as the Le Moyne women's side will tip off the action with a 1:00 p.m. NE10 Conference game against the College of Saint Rose.

The Le Moyne College men's basketball team (0-3) is coming off an 88-87 loss at home on Wednesday to the Saint Thomas Aquinas College Spartans, who were ranked #25 in the first NABC Coaches National Top 25 Poll.

According to the Week 1 D2SIDA Men's Basketball Division II Media Poll, Pace is ranked #23 in the nation.

Graduate guard Nate McClure (Houston, Texas/Concordia Lutheran/Texas State/State Fair C.C./IUPUI) and sophomore guard Zy'Ever Wingfield (Richmond, Va./Henrico/Fork Union Military Academy) led the Dolphins in scoring with 16 points each during the team's first home game of the season.

Wingfield shot 5-6 from the field, including 1-1 from beyond the arc, and 5-6 from the throw line and pulled down five rebounds in 24 minutes played.

Through three games in his sophomore campaign, the athletic 6'4" guard leads Le Moyne in scoring and rebounding with averages of 13.0 points and 5.0 boards per contest.

McClure went 4-9 from long distance against the Spartans, and is currently shooting 43% on 21 three-point field goal attempts through three starts in 2022-23.

Graduate guard Isaiah Salter (Charlotte, N.Y./Central Cabarrus/American International/Adelphi) is shooting a team-high 46% from three-point land on 13 attempts so far in three games off the bench.

6'7" senior forward Xavier Wilson (Spring Valley, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac/The Hotchkiss School/Central Connecticut State) and 6'7" junior forward Luke Sutherland (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/Siena/Bryant) both contributed 13 points off the bench during the loss to STAC.

Wilson tallied 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 24 minutes of action against the Spartans, while Sutherland chipped in 13 points on 4-7 from the field, including 1-2 from beyond the three-point arc and 4-5 from the free-throw line, five rebounds, and two blocks in 18 minutes played.

The Dolphins recorded 17 assists on 27 made field goals against #25 Saint Thomas Aquinas, but they also committed 27 personal fouls during the 40 minutes of play. STAC accumulated just eight assists as a team on Wednesday, but they collected 14 offensive rebounds, doubling Le Moyne's offensive rebound tally of seven.

Head Coach Nate Champion '14 has used a 10-man rotation in all three games this season, and no Le Moyne player is averaging more than 30 minutes played per game.

McClure is currently playing exactly 30.0 minutes per contest, which is the highest average on the team.

Graduate point guard Mike DePersia (Cherry Hill, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial/IUPUI) lead the Dolphins in assists and steals with per game averages of 3.3 and 2.3, respectively.

Salter is right behind DePersia in the assists category with 3.0 per game so far this season.
