Geneseo, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's track and field teams opened their outdoor season at the first day of the Geneseo Early Season Invitational on Sunday.
 
Redshirt sophomore Madison Kozyra (Marcy, N.Y./Whitesboro) placed second in the discus throw with a program-record mark of 134-feet, 8-inches (41.06m) on her third attempt.
 
Redshirt sophomore Ashley Dobransky (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) finished 14th in the javelin throw with a distance of 81-feet, 10-inches (24.94m).
 
Sophomore Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy) placed seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:10.33.
 
Senior Christian Carlin-Saracene (North Syracuse, N.Y. / Cicero-North Syracuse) placed 11th in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.72.
 
The Dolphins are back at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational on Monday for the sprints, jumps and a pair of throws. The first event will get underway at 2:00 pm.
