Mansfield, Mass. – Freshman left fielder/third baseman Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, per the NE10's Week 10 Baseball Report, due to his play during Le Moyne's four-game conference series sweep at Pace University.

Sullivan slashed .400/.438/.667 with seven runs batted in and three runs scored during Le Moyne's four victories over the Setters in Pleasantville.

The left-handed hitting rookie recorded two hits in both games of Le Moyne's doubleheader against the Setters on Friday, then provided a hit in both games on Saturday to extend his hitting streak to 10 games.

During game one of the NE10 Southwest Division series, Sullivan tallied a team-best four RBI to help lead the Dolphins to a 7-3 win. A two-RBI single in the top of the third gave the 'Phins a 4-0 advantage, then after Pace answered back with three runs in the third, Sullivan ripped a double down the left field line in the top of the fifth to drive in two runs and extend Le Moyne's lead to 6-3.

Sullivan contributed two hits, one run, and a team-high two RBI during game two of Friday's doubleheader, which resulted in an 8-2 Le Moyne win.

The Syracuse native registered a hit and a run scored during Le Moyne's 3-1 win during game three of the series. As the 'Phins held on to a 2-0 lead with one out and nobody on base in the top of the fourth, Sullivan swung at the first pitch he saw and ripped a ground ball through the left side of the infield for a base hit. With two outs in the inning, junior outfielder Jason Boule (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse)) turned on a pitch and hit a line drive just beyond the reach of the diving third baseman and down the left field line for a double, moving Sullivan to third. Graduate second baseman Drew Carroll (Clifton Park, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy (Albany)) ripped a line drive into right field during the next at bat to drive in Sullivan and give the 'Phins their third run of the game.

During the series finale, with the 'Phins looking for their second straight conference sweep and eighth consecutive league win, the game was tied 1-1 going into the top of the eighth after Le Moyne freshman right-handed pitcher AJ Petraitis (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) held the Setters to just five hits, one run and one walk through the first seven frames.

Sullivan led off the eighth inning and smashed a fly ball into the right-center field gap that bounced over the wall for a ground-rule double. Sophomore catcher Benji Ries (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) moved Sullivan over to third with a sacrifice bunt, then Boule delivered a base hit up the middle to drive in Sullivan and give the 'Phins a 2-1 lead.

Sullivan drove in a run later in the game with a bases loaded walk as the Dolphins earned a 6-1 victory to complete another conference series sweep.

Le Moyne junior left-handed pitcher Max Parker (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll due to his performance on the mound during game one against Pace.

Parker pitched all nine innings and allowed just three runs and two walks with five strikeouts to earn his second conference victory of the campaign.

Outside of third inning, during which Pace recorded four hits and all three of their runs, Le Moyne's junior lefty scattered just five hits in eight scoreless frames.

The Le Moyne Baseball team (23-15, 8-4 NE10) is currently second in the Northeast-10 Conference Standings behind Southern Connecticut State (26-8, 9-1 NE10) and ahead of New Haven (23-10, 7-5 NE10). Pace (24-13, 4-8 NE10) now resides in fourth place alongside Adelphi (16-21, 4-8 NE10).

The Dolphins will host the Adelphi Panthers this weekend for a four-game NE10 Southwest Division series at Dick Rockwell Field.
