CRANDALL NAMED NORTHEAST CONFERENCE CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College fifth-year goalkeeper Paige Crandall (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) has been named the Northeast Conference women's lacrosse co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

She earned the honor, her first of the season, after registering seven saves. including four in the opening quarter, and a .500 save percentage in her team's 8-7 victory at Merrimack on Saturday. With the victory, Crandall passes Kelly Fucillo '12 for the third-most wins by a Dolphin netminder in the program's history with her 49th.

Through eight games, she has made 81 saves and has a .468 save percentage. In three conference games, she has 29 saves, a .547 save percentage and a 7.86 goals against average to lead the Dolphins to a 3-0 record. She ranks second in the conference in saves per game and save percentage and third in goals against average.

Le Moyne (4-4, 3-0 NEC), which is the only remaining unbeaten team in NEC play, is back home on Wednesday against FDU at 2:00 p.m.
