Bridgewater, N.J. – The Northeast Conference announced its 2024-25 women's basketball conference schedule on Wednesday, revealing the Dolphins' first league slate under new Linda M. LeMura Endowed head women's basketball coach Nick DiPillo.

Le Moyne's 16-game NEC schedule will feature home and away matchups against each conference foe.

The Dolphins will play their first three conference games on the road, tipping off their NEC slate on January 2 at LIU before traveling to new member Mercyhurst for a January 9 contest followed by Saint Francis on January 11.

Le Moyne and Mercyhurst met 17 times as Division II opponents, with the Dolphins holding an 11-6 all-time edge, but January 9 will mark the first time that the two sides face off as conference foes.

The Dolphins will play their first home league game on January 18 against new NEC member Chicago State in what will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

The team will remain at home to host Stonehill on January 20, which will be part of a doubleheader with the men's team, then will hit the road to battle Central Connecticut State on January 25.

Le Moyne will begin the month of February with three consecutive home games against Wagner (Feb. 1), Saint Francis (Feb. 6) and Mercyhurst (Feb. 8), followed by three consecutive road games against Wagner (Feb. 13), Chicago State (Feb. 15), and FDU (Feb. 20).

Three of Le Moyne's final four conference games will be played at home. The Dolphins will host LIU (Feb. 22) and Central Connecticut State (Feb. 27) at Ted Grant Court, then will play their final road game of the regular season at Stonehill on March 1. The team will then close out its regular season schedule on March 6 against FDU.

The home matchup with LIU and the away game at Stonehill will both be part of doubleheaders with the men's team.

The NEC Tournament will begin on March 10, with the semifinals being played on March 13, and the championship game scheduled for March 16.
The NEC Presidents' Council previously voted to eliminate access restrictions to NEC championships during Le Moyne and Stonehill's transition to DI. Consequently, Le Moyne and Stonehill are eligible to compete in the NEC postseason. Should Le Moyne or Stonehill win the NEC Tournament championship, the tournament runner-up will advance to the NCAA Tournament as the NEC's automatic qualifier, while if Le Moyne and Stonehill both reach the championship game, the NEC will stage an "AQ Qualifier" game between the two non-advancing semifinal teams. This will serve as a decisive game to determine the team that will secure the NEC's spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Le Moyne's non-conference schedule will feature home games against University of Rhode Island (Nov. 10), Boston University (Dec. 5), UMass Lowell (Dec. 7), Colgate University (Dec. 21) and University at Buffalo (Dec. 28), with road games at Stanford University (Nov. 4), Stony Brook University (Nov. 7), Illinois State University (Nov. 17), University of Illinois (Nov. 18), Seton Hall University (Dec. 14) and Princeton University (Dec. 31), as well as two neutral site games in San Juan, Puerto Rico against UNC Greensboro (Nov. 29) and University of Southern Indiana (Nov. 30).
