Washington, D.C. – The Le Moyne College men's soccer team will continue NEC action Thursday at Howard University. The match is set to kick off at 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed on
NEC Front Row from Howard's Greene Stadium.
MATCHUP HISTORY:
The Dolphins and the Bison have met in conference action each of the last two seasons, with both sides claiming a 2-0 win on their home turf. Le Moyne was shutout in the nation's capital during the 2023 campaign despite outshooting the Bison 9-6, but the Dolphins claimed a 2-0 win over Howard last season in Syracuse. The Dolphins scored two first half goals, and did not allow a shot on target during the 90 minutes to collect their sixth shutout of the 2024 campaign.
DOLPHIN RUNDOWN:
Le Moyne (1-7, 0-1 NEC) dropped its NEC opener at home against Saint Francis on Sunday by a score of 2-1. Graduate forward

Antonino Pagano (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse/Coastal Carolina) to give the Dolphins a 1-0 advantage, but the Red Flash found the equalizer less than five minutes later, and went ahead for good in the 78
th minute. SFU outshot Le Moyne 12-10 during the conference battle.
Junior goalkeeper
Wyatt Dupell (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) came up with five saves for the Dolphins during the setback, marking the fourth match this season that he has registered at least five saves. Dupell has now accumulated 128 total saves in 36 games started as a Dolphin, good for the 17
th most career saves in program history. He also ranks 10
th in program history for goals against average with a mark of 1.67.
Pagano is pacing the squad in goals (2) and shots (15), while redshirt-sophomore forward
Felix Ludemann (Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen) has registered a team-high six shots on target with one goal on 13 total attempts.

Andrew Piccolo (Toronto, Ontario/Michael Power-St. Joseph) and junior defender
Karl Lundstrom Svahnqvist (Lexington, Mass./South Kent/Bellarmine) have both also recorded one goal this season.
Antonino Pagano has provided a team-high two assists through eight matches played, while sophomore forward
Rhys Allport (Wirral, England/Reaseheath) and redshirt-sophomore midfielder
Diego Martinez (Veracruz, Mexico/Gulf Coast (Fla.) have each distributed one assist.
The Dolphins collected their lone win of the season on September 3 at home against St. Bonaventure University. Le Moyne is currently 0-4 in road matches.
Following Thursday's match against the Bison, the Dolphins will play a conference match at LIU on October 9.
SCOUTING THE BISON:
Howard (1-7-1, 0-1 NEC) suffered a 4-2 setback at New Haven in its first NEC match of the season on Sunday. The match concluded a three-game road swing for the Bison, which began with a 1-0 win at VMI followed by a loss at No. 16 Duke.
Howard recorded a 1-1 draw at Navy in the final contest of August, and is 0-2 at home on the year with loses to San Diego State and Delaware.
Sophomore forward forward Daniil Kaban, a 2024 NEC All-Rookie Team honoree, leads the Bison with two goals on a team-high five shots through nine games played and seven starts. Redshirt-freshman midfielder Naim Robinson is second on the squad in points with one goal and one assist. Robinson scored the winning tally during the 1-0 victory over VMI and assisted the lone goal during the 1-1 draw against Navy.
Robinson currently leads the Bison in total shots (13) and minutes played (739).
Junior midfielder Onarae Rice, senior midfielder Roman Stallings, freshman defender Marshall Lloyd, sophomore midfielder Zach Simmons and Robinson have each started all nine games this season for Howard.
Redshirt-sophomore Liam Keiller and junior Ireal Wyze-Daly have split time in goal this season for Howard. Keiller holds a 4.00 goals against average with 27 total saves in four games, while Wyze-Daly has a 2.00 goals against average with 23 saves and a 1-3-1 record through five starts.
Wyze-Daly recorded seven saves during the draw with Navy, and five saves during the shutout win over VMI. He also played the full 90 minutes last time out against New Haven.
Robinson (739), Rice (725) and sophomore defender Rayce Welborne (704) have each logged over 700 minutes played for the Bison.
Howard is led by head coach Phillip Gyau, who is in his 12
th season at the helm of the program.
