Syracuse, N.Y. – Junior forward Ashley Buragas (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay/Mineral Area College) of the women's basketball team has been named the Le Moyne Athlete of the Week, presented by CADimensions Inc.
 
The Dolphins traveled to Lafayette College on Sunday to take on the Patriot League opponents in the second game of the early season. Buragas recorded a 20-point, 22-rebound double-double, shooting 9-25 from the field as the Le Moyne defeated Lafayette 82-79 in an overtime thriller.
 
Buragas also added a team-high 6 assists and 1 steal through 34 minutes of action.
 
Ashley's 22 rebounds are the second-most in program history, and the most since Jennifer Shea registered 24 rebounds in January of 1988.
