Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Le Moyne College men's outdoor track & field team concluded day one of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational Thursday evening.
The Dolphins had four competitors in action on opening day in the 'Phins first trip to Myrtle Beach.
Sophomore
Joseph Doran (Camden, N.Y./Camden) placed 34
th overall in the men's hammer throw event after earning a distance of 112-feet, 5.25-inches. Junior
Adam Cuyler (Pheonix, N.Y./C.W. Baker) placed 41
st overall with a distance of 100-feet, 0.50-inches.
Le Moyne also had two Dolphins compete in the men's 10,000m event. Graduate student
KaHo Wong (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder/SUNY Brockport/Quinnipiac) placed 21
st overall after clocking in a time of 35:54.01. Junior
Jake Roman (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/SUNY Morrisville) placed 23
rd overall after earning a time of 37:00.84.
The 'Phins are back in action tomorrow morning for the second day of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. The day kicks off at 9:00 A.M. with the men's decathlon 110m hurdles, followed by the women's heptathalon long jump event at 9:30 A.M.
