Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Freshman
Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) set a program record in the high jump event as the Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams wrapped up the 2025 Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on Saturday.
"We had an amazing week in Myrtle Beach," said head coach
Robin Wheeless. "We have been working hard since the end of the indoor season, working more on base training. That being said, several people ran personal bests, and we set three school records."
Locci continued her success in the high jump event after earning a 2
nd place finish in her first collegiate outdoor track meet. Her jump of 5-feet, 5-inches set a program record for the 'Phins. Junior
Lilly Capria (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placed 3
rd overall in the high jump after marking a height of 5-feet, 3-inches.
Freshman
Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) placed 11
th overall in the 3000m event after earning a time of 11:13.98. Sophomore
Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) placed 13
th overall in the Mile, clocking in with a time of 5:30.92. Classmate
Stephanie James (Schenectady, N.Y./Scotia-Glenville/Saint Rose) placed 29
th overall after running a time of 6:12.47.

Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) placed 25
th overall in the 400m hurdle event after earning a time of 1:11.05. Sophomore
Amanda Lowenguth (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) set a personal best in the 400m hurdles after running a time of 1:13.47 and placing 29

Matthew Frisa (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) had the most individual success, earning a 5
th place finish in the 400m hurdles, after earning a time of 57.47. Freshman
Maltrin Ramadani (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) also competed in the 400m hurdles, clocking in with a time of 1:02.11 and placing 17
th overall. Sophomore
Terry Tillock (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream South) finished one spot behind Ramadani with a difference of 0.52 seconds, running a time of 1:02.63 and placing 18
th overall.
Junior
Jordan Johnson (Plainfield, N.J./Timothy Christian School) set a personal best in the 200m event, running a time of 23.08 and placing 57
th overall. Senior
Brandon Scott (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) placed 75
th in the 200m after earning a time of 23.62.
Freshman
Christopher Zajdel (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) placed 14
th overall in the 400m race, clocking in with a time of 50.67. Sophomore

Brandon Scott also competed in the 400m event, placing 32

Jake Roman (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/SUNY Morrisville), Maltin Ramadani,
Mike Purvis, and Jakob Makhlouf ran a time of 3:43.21 in the 4x400m relay, earning a 20
th place finish.
"Jacey picked up right where she left off from the indoor season, despite only have jumped once in the last three weeks," said coach Wheeless. "Skylar has shown what hard work can do. I thought going into the 5k that Jack had a good chance to set the record, but his time slipped a little off pace and I didn't think he was going to get it. That was, until another runner came up to take the lead. Jack ended up putting up a 61-second final lap to take the record and the victory."
Overall, the Dolphins saw success in their first trip to Myrtle Beach, after senior
Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy),
Skylar Gravell and
Jacey Locci set program records in the 5000m, 400m, and High Jump events. The 'Phins will look to continue to improve as they are scheduled to compete at the Leopard Invite on March 29
th at Lafayette College.
