Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Freshman Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) set a program record in the high jump event as the Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams wrapped up the 2025 Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on Saturday.

"We had an amazing week in Myrtle Beach," said head coach Robin Wheeless. "We have been working hard since the end of the indoor season, working more on base training. That being said, several people ran personal bests, and we set three school records."

Locci continued her success in the high jump event after earning a 2nd place finish in her first collegiate outdoor track meet. Her jump of 5-feet, 5-inches set a program record for the 'Phins. Redshirt-sophomore Jake Roman (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/SUNY Morrisville), Maltin Ramadani, Mike Purvis, and Jakob Makhlouf ran a time of 3:43.21 in the 4x400m relay, earning a 20th place finish.

"Jacey picked up right where she left off from the indoor season, despite only have jumped once in the last three weeks," said coach Wheeless. "Skylar has shown what hard work can do. I thought going into the 5k that Jack had a good chance to set the record, but his time slipped a little off pace and I didn't think he was going to get it. That was, until another runner came up to take the lead. Jack ended up putting up a 61-second final lap to take the record and the victory."

Overall, the Dolphins saw success in their first trip to Myrtle Beach, after senior Jack Gibson (Ilion, N.Y./Central Valley Academy), Skylar Gravell and Jacey Locci set program records in the 5000m, 400m, and High Jump events. The 'Phins will look to continue to improve as they are scheduled to compete at the Leopard Invite on March 29th at Lafayette College.
