Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at both the Bison Outdoor Classic and the Brockport Outdoor Multi on Sunday.
Brockport Outdoor Multi:
"I was thrilled with the athletes performances today," said assistant coach
Marie Grasso. "We talked about how we could use visualization to lead us to better performances, and that's just what they did."
The Dolphins set two program records at the multi after sophomore
Mackenzie Ples (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) and freshman
Trevon Walker (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) broke records in both the women's 3000m steeplechase and the men's long jump.
Ples placed 2
nd overall in the steeplechase after finishing with a time of 12:13.53, breaking the program record she set last year at the 2024 Northeast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Walker placed 4
th overall in the men's long jump after earning a distance of 21-feet, 5.5-inches, breaking a program record set by Matt Civilette at the 2018 NE10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Walker also competed in the men's 100m event, placing 13
th overall with a time of 11.64. Redshirt-junior
Connor Scott (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) also competed in the 100m, placing 15
th overall with a time of 11.69. Senior
Brandon Scott (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) ran in the 200m event, placing 7
th overall after clocking in with a time of 23.25. Connor finished three places behind Brandon, finishing 10
th overall with a time of 23.61.
Brandon also placed 1
st overall in the men's 400m after running a time of 52.11, earning his third 1
st place finish of the year. Freshman
Brendan O'Rourke (New Milford, N.J./Bergen Catholic) placed 5
th overall, finishing with a time of 53.86 and classmate
Michael Daley (Schenectady, N.Y./Schenectady) placed 8
th overall after running a time of 55.15.

Jacob Cottet (Syracuse, N.Y./Jamesville-Dewitt) placed 8
th overall in the 800m event after earning a time of 2:04.55. Sophomore
Mike Purvis (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 16
th overall after finishing with a time of 2:07.57. Freshman
Carson Campbell (Lee Center, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) placed 21
st overall, running a time of 2:09.11, and sophomore
Jacob Makhlouf (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) placed 26
th overall after running a time of 2:11.54.
Purvis and Campbell also competed in the 1500m event, as Mike placed 2
nd overall with a time of 4:07.04, and Carson placing 7

Jake Roman (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse/SUNY Morrisville) placed 13
th overall after clocking with a time of 4:21.79.

KaHo Wong (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder/SUNY Brockport/Quinnipiac) competed in the 5000m event, placing 8
th overall in the 17.31.33. The Dolphins had success in the 400m hurdles as sophomore
Terry Tillock (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream South) earned himself a 1
st place finish after clocking in with a time of 1:01.00. Freshman
Maltrin Ramadani (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool finished just 0.3 seconds behind Tillock, placing 2
nd overall with a time of 1:01.30.

th overall in the triple jump event after earning a distance of 40-feet, 0.75-inches. Junior

th overall in the shot put after he threw a distance of 40-feet, 4.75-inches. He also competed in the hammer throw, placing 24

"We had two individual wins with
Brandon Scott in the 400m, and
Terry Tillock in the 400m hurdles running a lifetime best," said coach Grasso. "We had 16 other top-8 performances, which indicated they came to take care of business. It was a very successful meet for us".

Sophomore
Rosalie Vincent (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) placed 44
th overall in the 100m event after running a time of 12.49. She also competed in the 200m event, placing 30
th overall with a time of 25.33.
Freshman
Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) placed 54
th overall in the 400m hurdles after clocking in with a time of 1:07.85.

rd overall after running a time of 23.21.
Zajdel competed in the 400m event, placing 15
th overall after running a time of 49.08, and Skylar competed in the 800m event, placing 106
th overall with a time of 1:58.55. Frisa placed 17
th overall in the 400m hurdles, clocking in with a time of 54.99 to conclude the day for the Dolphins.
