Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College sophomore Owen Corby (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) has been named to the Northeast Conference men's golf All-Conference Second Team, as voted upon by the league's 11 head coaches and announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Corby, who is the first Dolphin to earn All-NEC men's golf honors, closed out his second year on the Heights with a 73.46 scoring average over 28 rounds at 12 events. His average was the sixth-best in the NEC and is the fourth-best in a season by a Dolphin over the last 22 years. He recorded nine rounds of par or better, including a career-low round of 66 on October 13 in the first round of the Bucknell Invitational, where he went on to tie for third place in a field of 108 competitors with a one-under total of 209. He wrapped up his year with his best placement of the campaign by tying for second place at the NEC Championship with a two-under total of 211 after scores of one-under 70, one-under 70 and even-pay 71. He opened the Spring season with his other top-10 tournament finish, a tie for seventh, at the 92-player The Carpetbagger Classic, where he posted a three-over 147.
