ALLISON EARNS ANOTHER PODIUM FINISH, MORE RECORDS SMASHED AT DAY 2 OF MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIM & DIVE NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Geneva, O.H. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's swimming and diving teams took part in day two of the 2026 NEC Championships on Wednesday night. The women's squad rounded out the day with 111 points, placing them in a tie with Stonehill for sixth place while the men's team ranked third in the standings with 269 points through 15 events. 

Women's Squad:
Freshman Sophia Stinnett (Hillsborough, N.C. / Cedar Ridge) finished with a time of 5:11.26 and placed 12th in the 500-yard freestyle event to lead the way for the 'Phins.

Junior Madeleine O'Dea (Milton, O.N./Milton District) came in with a time of 2:10.74 in the 200-yard IM, finishing in the 12th position.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of sophomore Shannon Swezey (Bayport, N.Y. / Bayport-Blue Point), senior Brooke Sommo (Guilderland, N.Y./Guilderland), sophomore Kaiya Fraley (Watervliet N.Y. / Shaker), and junior Kayleigh Bigwarfe (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem) closed out the meet with a time of 1:38.10 to earn them seventh place. 

Men's Team:
Freshman John Mummery (New Windsor, N.Y. / Newburgh) opened the meet with a second place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, setting a new school record with a final time of 4:35.93.

Two spots behind Mummery, fellow freshman Owen Daniels (Rhinebeck, N.Y. / Redhook) earned fourth place in the event, coming in at the 4:37.20 mark.

Sophomore Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) earned a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard IM at 1:50.37.

In the 50-yard freestyle, junior Justin Enser (Hilton, N.Y. / Hilton) took fifth place with a final time of 20.70.

Sophomore Louis Allison (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) earned his second podium finish of the NEC Championships, placing third in the three-meter dive with a final score of 233.55. He finished ahead of junior Adam Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) who placed sixth in the event with a score of 218.70.

The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team of sophomore Michael White Jr. (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker), junior Michael Han (Auckland, New Zealand / Pakuranga College), senior Xavier Silaika (Rexford, N.Y. / Shenendehowa), and Enser placed fourth in the event at 1:22.81, setting another school record in the process.
