Syracuse, N.Y. – A record breaking performance in the Men's 100-yard Breaststroke from sophomore Lucas Clay (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) at the NEC Championships has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 


Clay, who had already tied the record in the preliminaries the day before with a time of 53.63, shaved off an additional 0.5 seconds to break the conference record after finishing with a time of 53.58, earning a gold medal.
 
Lucas concluded the championships with one gold medal and three silver medals to cap off an impressive showing at the 2025-26 NEC Swimming & Diving Championships.
