Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning goal scored by junior midfielder Maddi Barney (Lorraine, N.Y./South Jefferson) of the women's lacrosse team against Binghamton has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.
 
 

With 4:07 remaining in overtime, the Dolphins earned a free-position after a foul committed by Binghamton on Barney. As play resumed, Maddi raced towards the net before firing a shot between the keepers legs to score her third goal of the game, as the Dolphins won 11-10 over the Bearcats.
 
Le Moyne improved to 4-1 after winning the following contest against Manhattan. The Dolphins are scheduled to take on Siena University at Ted Grant Field Saturday, March 7^th.
