Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning home run from junior right fielder Sydney Nesci (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) in extra innings against New Haven has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 
 
 
With the score knotted at 3-3, the Dolphins and Chargers were heading into extra innings. Nesci, leading off the 8^th inning, took a swing on the first pitch of the at-bat, sending the ball over the left field fence for her second home run of the season, giving Le Moyne a 4-3 lead.
 
Sophomore pitcher Isabella Kwashek (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) was able to close out the bottom of the 8^th inning, as the Dolphins won the game 4-3 in the final game of their New Haven series.
