Brockton, Mass. – The Le Moyne College women's golf team set a single-round program record en route to a fourth-place finish at the Stonehill Senior Showdown on Wednesday afternoon at the par-70, 6042-yard D.W. Field Golf Course.
The Dolphins registered an 18-hole total of 305, which eclipsed the program's previous best round, a 311 in September in the first round of the Battle at the Creek. In the performance, the Dolphins had all four scorers post totals in the 70s for the first time in the program's history.
Bryant University won the team competition with a 290. The host Skyhawks placed second with a 296 and Providence College was third at 304. Bryant's Jennelle Valera and Stonehill's Kenna Roman tied for first place at even-par 70.

Gianna Cafarella (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Preparatory School) and sophomore
Olivia Dahn (Bristol, Conn./St. Paul Catholic) finished in a three-way tie for eighth place with a career-best 75. Cafarella had three birdies and nine pars, while Dahn had three birdies and eight pars. Freshman
Caroline McShea (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) and classmate
Elizabeth Holden (Clinton, Maine/Lawrence), who played as an individual, landed in a five-way tie for 11th place with a 76, a career-best for Holden. McShea registered 12 pars, while Holden had two birdies and nine pars. Sophomore
Lauren Williams (San Francisco, Calif./University HS) finished in a four-way tie for 16th with a 79, which included two birdies and seven pars. Junior
Cambell Kennedy (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Shenendehowa) ended the day in a three-way tie for 20th at 81, featuring one birdie and seven pars. Senior
Riley Stuver (Webster, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) placed in a three-way tie for 25th with an 87, which included five pars.
The Dolphins open play at the NEC Championship on Friday at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland.
