Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College redshirt junior pitcher AJ Petraitis (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) has been named the NEC baseball Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Petraitis earns a weekly honor for the first time in his career and is the first Dolphin pitcher to be recognized by the NEC since Jacob Crystal '25 on April 2, 2024. Petraitis was honored after tossing a career-best eight and one-third innings and striking out six batters, while yielding just six hits and three runs in a 4-3 victory over NEC-leading FDU on Friday.

Through 10 starts, Petraitis is 4-4 with team highs of 35 strikeouts and 51 and one-third innings. In seven NEC starts, he is 4-2 with a 5.48 ERA and 31 strikeouts over 42 and two-thirds innings.

Le Moyne (12-20, 12-9 NEC) returns to action on Friday at Norfolk State University at 3:00 p.m.
