Baldwinsville, N.Y. – Senior Anthony Viskovich (Massena, N.Y./Massena) and freshman Dan Molter (Port Crane, N.Y./Chenango Forks) tied for 15th place to lead the Le Moyne College men's golf team to a tie for fifth place at the Mike Bello Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the par-72, 6,739-yard Timber Banks Golf Club & Marina.

Dowling topped the field to win the team competition with a 20-over par 308. Pace finished in second place with a 323, three shots ahead of Delhi's "green" team. Delhi's "gold" team finished fourth with a 331. The Dolphins tallied a 336 to tie for fifth place with Nazareth. Tyler Phillips of Roberts Wesleyan captured medalist honors with an even-par 72.

Viskovich and Molter each carded an 81 to land in a five-way tie for 15th place. Junior Nick Tryniski (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) shot an 85 to place in a seven-way tie for 29th place, while junior Josh Cook (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool/Onondaga C.C.) carded an 89 to finish in a three-way tie for 44th place. Senior Chris Sova (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) rounded out Le Moyne's entry with a 90 to place 47th. Playing as individuals, freshmen Sam Eno (Dennis, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth Regional) and Mitch Hillegas (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley) tied with Viskovich and Molter for 15th place with nine-over par 81s. Sophomore John Maurer (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) also played as an individual and posted a 98.

Le Moyne, which honored Viskovich and Sova prior to the start of play for their contributions to the program, returns to the links on Saturday and Sunday at the River Hawk Invitational at Meadow Creek Golf Club in Dracut, Massachusetts.
