Colchester, Vt. – Emily Magee won two matches to lead Saint Michael's College to a 9-0 win over the Le Moyne College women's tennis team on Friday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at the SMC Tennis Courts.

In doubles action, Magee and Jean-Marie McGrath registered an 8-4 win at the top spot over senior Rebecca Black (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) and sophomore Margaret LaFleur (Darien Center, N.Y./Attica). At the second spot, Caroline Toutoungi and Caroline Martin recorded an 8-6 victory over sophomore Dominique Canale (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego/Arcadia) and freshman Allison Jones (Utica, N.Y./Notre Dame). Erica Bundrick and Alexandria Sulkin teamed at third doubles to defeat juniors Kristine Kenny (Baytown, Texas/Ross S. Sterling-Baytown) and Kelly Falconer (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) by a score of 8-0.

At first singles, Magee recorded back-to-back 6-0 victories over Black, while Bundrick posted a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kenny at the second spot. At third singles, Alex Dalton registered a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Canale, while Hannah Benoit tallied a 6-0, 6-1 win over LaFleur at fourth singles. In pro sets, McGrath and Toutoungi registered 8-3 and 8-2 wins at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.

Le Moyne (5-8, 4-6 NE-10) returns to action on Saturday at Franklin Pierce at 10:00 a.m. for its final road NE-10 match of the season.
