Boston, Mass. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's track teams each placed 11th in their first appearance at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center.
The Dolphins earned their two points in the distance medley relay as junior
Joe Fallon (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus),
Kevin O'Connor (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay),
Brody Witaszek (Ghent, N.Y./Chatham) and
Sean Beney (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) placed seventh in a season-best 10:47.47. Beney recorded Le Moyne's best individual finish of the day on the track by placing 11th in the one-mile run in 4:37.58. Freshman
David Slattery (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) also posted an 11th-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 40-feet, 9.5-inches. Senior
Aaron Fuller (Troy, N.Y./Lansingburgh) turned in a 13th-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a season-best time of 53.47 seconds, while freshman
Matthew Civilette (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) recorded a leap of 40-feet, 9.5-inches in the triple jump to place 13th. Freshman
Elliot Hernandez (Boonville, N.Y./Adirondack) registered a season-best time of 1:11.16 in the 500-meter run. The quartet of Hernandez,
Phillip Howell (Syracuse, N.Y./Academy of Science), O'Connor and Fuller placed ninth in the 4x400-meter relay in a season-best 3:38.24.
On the women's side, freshman
Jeanette Cudney (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) registered Le Moyne's best individual finish of the Championship by placing ninth in the 5000-meter run in 20:05.71, her second-best time of the season. Sophomore
Elena Doctor (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca East) was one spot back in 20:25.59, her second-best time of the campaign. Freshman
Erin Fayle (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) turned in an 11th-place finish in the 800-meter run in a season-best 2:29.64. Freshman
Bella Sterly (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) registered a toss of 34-feet, 11.25-inches in the shot put to place 12th. Freshman
Gabrielle Schug (East Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) placed 14th in the 500-meter run in a season-best 1:41.09. Freshman
Meg Hubregsen (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) registered a season-best time of 28.13 seconds in the 200-meter dash. The quartet of

The Dolphins open the outdoor season at the Stockton College Invitational on Saturday, March 21.
