Syracuse, N.Y. – Sophomore
Nicholas Barney (Apalachin, N.Y./Vestal) tied for third place to lead the Le Moyne College men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Mike Bello Invitational on Thursday and Friday at the par-71, 6498-yard Bellevue Country Club.
Roberts Wesleyan College won the team title by 12 shots with a two-day score of 598. The Redhawks posted a 296 in the first round to take a four-shot lead and followed with a 302 on Friday to extend their lead. Dominican College placed second with a 610 off back-to-back rounds of 305. Southern New Hampshire University finished third after posting scores of 300 and 311 for a total of 611. The Dolphins opened with a 308 and turned in a 306 on Friday to finish in fourth place with a 614.
Barney earned his first career top-five finish by landing in a three-way tie for third with a six-over par 148. He posted a 74 in the first round to place in a five-way tie for fourth and then moved up one spot on Friday with another 74.

Joe Petrin (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and sophomore
Jonathan Petrin (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) finished in a seven-way tie for 18th place with a 156. Joe recorded a 75 in the first round to land in a four-way tie for ninth and dipped in the standings after an 81 on Friday. Jonathan tallied an 80 on Thursday to place in a four-way tie for 37th and then jumped 19 spots following a 76 in the second round.
Senior
Daniel Thomas (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) finished in a six-way tie for 25th with a 157. He recorded an 82 in the first round to land in a five-way tie for 47th and then moved up 22 places with a 75 on Friday.

Jake Eno (Dennis, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth Regional) landed in a three-way tie for 50th with a 162 off rounds of 79 and 83.
Le Moyne completes its regular season schedule on Sunday and Monday at Indiana University of Pennsylvania's 55th Annual Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational at Indiana Country Club.
