Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College sophomore Belal Aly (Syracuse, N.Y./PSAL at Fowler) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference men's swimming and diving Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Aly earned the recognition after recording three top-15 finishes individually and was part of four top-five relay finishes at the three-day Bomber Invitational over the weekend. He won the 200-yard freestyle by 0.59 seconds by touching the wall first in a season-best time of 1:43.36. He opened the invitational by placing 13th in the 500-yard freestyle in a season-best 4:52.28. He registered a seven-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a season-best 47.24 seconds. He led off the fourth-place 200-yard freestyle relay, swam the second leg of the fourth-place 400-yard freestyle relay, anchored the fifth-place 200-yard medley relay and swam the second leg of the fifth-place 800-yard freestyle relay.
 
The Dolphins return to the pool on Tuesday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Alfred University.
