Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College graduate student goalkeeper Matt Vavonese (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy/Canisius) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference men's lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Vavonese, honored for the second time in three weeks, registered 13 saves as the then-second ranked Dolphins recorded a 15-13 victory over seventh-ranked Indianapolis on Sunday. He tallied six in the second quarter and four in the third. Vavonese also picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers in the win.

Le Moyne (3-0), which moved to the top of the USILA Coaches poll on Monday, completes its non-conference schedule on Wednesday at Roberts Wesleyan University at 4:00 p.m.
