Mansfield, Mass. – Seven players from the Le Moyne College baseball team have earned Northeast-10 All-Conference recognition, per the NE10's All-Conference Awards release.
Freshman third baseman/left fielder
Adam Sullivan (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus) was named the Southwest Division Rookie Hitter of the Year and earned a place on the All-Conference First Team in the utility spot. Junior left-handed starting pitcher
Max Parker (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) joined Sullivan on the First Team, while senior right-handed starting pitcher
Sam DiGeorge (Canastota, N.Y./Canastota) and sophomore right fielder
Wyatt Patchett (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) were selected to the All-Conference Second Team, and graduate first baseman
Dewey Roden (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill/UMass Lowell) was placed on the third team. Graduate second baseman
Drew Carroll (Clifton Park, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy (Albany)) was named to the NE10 All-Defensive Team, while Sullivan and fellow freshman
Brody Keneston (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) both earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
Sullivan started all 20 conference games for the Dolphins and tallied 23 hits, including six doubles, two triples and three home runs, 20 RBI and 19 runs scored with a .338/.408/.618 slash line.
Parker's 1.55 ERA through four starts and 29.0 innings pitched in conference play was the best in the entire NE10. The junior lefty went at least 6.0 innings in all four of his conference starts while compiling a 3-1 record, including a complete game victory during a nine-inning contest at Pace. He surrendered just seven runs in total during league play.
DiGeorge compiled a 1.82 ERA during 11 appearances in the regular season, including a 2.12 earned run average in five starts, and 29.2 innings pitched during NE10 play. DiGeorge accumulated a 3-1 record against NE10 foes with a .248 opponent batting average. The senior right-hander delivered a seven-inning complete game with no walks and six strikeouts during a win at Pace.
Patchett leads Le Moyne with 11 home runs on the year, including a team-best five long balls during conference play. Patchett started all 20 regular season NE10 games in right field for the Dolphins, tallying 17 hits, 11 RBI and 22 runs scored (2
nd most among NE10 Southwest Division players).
Roden led all Southwest Division hitters with 22 runs batted in during the 20-game conference schedule. Roden appeared in all 20 games at first base and tallied 22 hits, including five doubles and four home runs, to go along with 14 runs scored, 13 walks and two stolen bases with a .319/.440/.565 slash line.
Carroll was named to the All-Defensive Team after establishing a .959 fielding percentage during conference play. Carroll played center field for Le Moyne's first three NE10 battles against SCSU while
Zach Brush worked back from injury, then he started at second base for the rest of the conference slate. In 97 chances, Carroll recorded just four errors and was a part of 14 double plays against NE10 opponents. Le Moyne's graduate leadoff hitter also produced 22 hits, 10 RBI, 16 runs, 12 walks and seven stolen bases in 20 conference starts.
Keneston earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team after starting all 20 NE10 games during his first collegiate season, tallying 16 hits, including five doubles, one triple and three home runs, to go along with 14 runs scored, 12 walks and 17 runs batted in.
The Dolphins finished the regular season with a 14-6 conference resume to claim their first NE10 Southwest Division title since 2018. After winning their first-round matchup in the NE10 Championship against #4 SW Adelphi, Le Moyne earned the right to host Championship Weekend at Dick Rockwell Field.
The four team double-elimination bracket pits #1 SW Le Moyne against #2 NE Franklin Pierce University at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
#4 NE Bentley and #3 SW Pace will play at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Le Moyne College baseball team (30-17, 14-6 NE10) is ranked #4 in the most recent NCAA East Region Top 10 Poll. The Franklin Pierce University Ravens (31-15, 17-7 NE10) are ranked sixth in the poll.
