Corby finished in a four-way tie for third place in the field of 108 competitors with a career-best total of one-under par 209, which featured 14 birdies (second-most in the event) and 28 pars. His finish is the highest by a Dolphin since the program's transition to the Division I level. He had the previous best finish by placing fourth in a field of 75 at Columbia's Roar-EE Invitational on April 13, 2024. His 209 is tied for the second-best score by a Dolphin over the last 29 years and is the best since Nicholas Bove '23 also had a 209 at the Eagles Invitational in October 2022. Corby was the first-round leader after carding a career-best four-under 66, which featured six birdies, including four in a span of six holes to start his "back nine", and 10 pars. His 66 ties John Clare '17 from the first round of the 2017 NCAA Championships for the best round by a Dolphin over the last 29 years. He registered five birdies, including three in his last five holes, and seven pars on Monday as he turned in a 72 to slip into second place. His 138 over the first two rounds is tied for the third-best mark by a Dolphin and is the best since Clare had a 136 at the 2017 NCAA Championship. He rounded out the invitational with three birdies and 11 pars on Tuesday en route to a one-over 71.

Junior Anthony Maglisco (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) tied for ninth place with a career-best total of two-over 212, which included eight birdies and 37 pars. He is just the seventh Dolphin over the last 29 years to record a 212 or better over 54 holes.
