Syracuse, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men's and women's soccer teams will both celebrate Senior Day Sunday during a Northeast Conference soccer doubleheader at Ted Grant Field.
The men's team will hold their ceremony prior to their 12:00 p.m. kickoff against Howard University, while the women will do the same before their 3:00 p.m. kickoff against Central Connecticut State. The ceremonies and contests will be streamed on
NEC Front Row. Admission and parking are free for all in attendance.
The Le Moyne women's soccer team is 1-2-2 so far in the month of October. The Dolphins claimed a 6-0 win over Delaware State at home on October 10, which is tied for the third-most goals scored in a game in program history, and is the largest margin of victory for the Dolphins in a match since 2016.
Le Moyne then recorded back-to-back draws against Chicago State and Saint Francis, and most recently suffered a 1-0 setback at Wagner on Thursday.
Freshman goalkeeper
Mikayla McPheron (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy) tallied 11 saves against the Seahawks, which is the most saves that she has recorded in an NEC match this season.

Casey is currently tied for sixth in points among all NEC players with a team-high four goals and a team-high four assists through 17 games played.

Matchup History:
Le Moyne and CCSU met for the first time in women's soccer during the 2023 campaign when the Dolphins traveled to New Britain and registered a 2-2 draw against the five-time defending regular season NEC champion Blue Devils. Casey scored both goals during that match for Le Moyne, with Barhoumi providing two assists.
Scouting the Blue Devils:
CCSU is led by head coach Mick D'Arcy, who is in his 25
th season at the helm of the program and has been named Northeast Conference Coach of the Year eight times.
The Blue Devils have won five of the last six NEC Regular Season Championships, and five of the last six NEC Tournament Championships.
CCSU went 7-0-3 in NEC play in 2023 before defeating Howard and Wagner in postseason play to capture the program's 13
th NEC Tournament title.
So far this season the Blue Devils are 4-10-1 overall, including 4-4 against NEC competition. CCSU has lost its last two matches, with a 1-0 setback at Howard on October 20 followed by a 4-2 defeat at home against Saint Francis on Thursday.
Sophomore midfielder Riley Powers leads the Blue Devils in points with three goals and two assists, while junior defender Kiley Yepes, who was a 2023 All-NEC Second Team selection, has added three goals.
Senior Aoife Horgan, who was named the 2023 NEC Midfielder of the Year and placed on the All-Conference First Team, and sophomore midfielder Emma Radoncic, a 2023 NEC All-Rookie honoree, have provided five points each so far this season. Senior defender Charlotte Simmons, who was placed on the 2023 All-NEC First Team, has started all 15 games for the Blue Devils with one goal and two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor DeFlorio has started 11 games for CCSU, including each of the last nine.
