South Orange, N.J. – The Le Moyne College women's basketball team will hit the road to take on BIG EAST side Seton Hall University on Saturday afternoon at SHU's Walsh Gymnasium. The contest will tip-off at 1:00 p.m., and will be broadcast on
FloSports.

Saturday will mark the first-ever matchup between Le Moyne and Seton Hall in women's basketball. The Pirates will also be Le Moyne's first-ever BIG EAST opponent.
Dolphin Rundown:
Le Moyne (0-9) began the month of December with back-to-back home games against Boston University and UMass Lowell. The Dolphins got off to a strong start against BU on November 5, establishing a 28-23 lead at halftime and a 40-27 advantage midway through the third before the Terriers rallied in the final frame to claim a 60-55 win.
Graduate forward
Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent) tallied a Division I career-high 23 points against Boston on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, 5-for-7 from three-point range and 4-for-4 from the line in 33 minutes of action. Roberts' five threes matched her season and career-high which she set in the 2024-25 opener at Stanford. Roberts was subsequently named an NEC Prime Performer for the third time this season on Monday.
Graduate guard
Megan Bodziony (Wakefield, R.I./St. Andrew's School/Fordham/Bryant) added eight points and eight rebounds to the Le Moyne cause during the setback.
Freshman guard
Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J./Ocean Township) and sophomore guard
Jessica Wangolo (Ottawa, Ontario/Capital Courts Academy/Buffalo) both scored in double figures during Le Moyne's 69-56 loss to UMass Lowell on December 7.
Clark scored a game-high 13 points against the River Hawks, marking the third time this season that the rookie guard has scored in double figures, while Wangolo provided a career-high 10 points on 3-for-3 shooting from the field, 1-for-1 from three-point range and 3-for-3 from the line. Both players also pulled down four rebounds each.
The Dolphins tallied season highs in steals (9), turnovers forced (18), free throws made (21) and free throws attempted (25) against UML, but they also committed a season-high 26 turnovers.
Roberts currently leads the Dolphins in points (11.0) and rebounding average (6.3), while Clark is averaging a team-high 2.2 assists, senior forward
Brianna Williams (Brampton, Ontario/Southwest Academy/Hartford) leads the team in offensive rebounding (2.1) and block average (0.8), and senior guard
Emily Florvil (Brooklyn, N.Y./Nazareth) is averaging a team-high 1.2 steals per contest.

Nick DiPillo and assistant coach
Mya Jackson both have history at Seton Hall. DiPillo served as director of player development and then assistant coach at SHU from 2014-2019, helping the Pirates compile a 94-66 record across five seasons. In his first season on staff, SHU captured its first Big East Conference Championship and earned its first bid to the NCAA Tournament since 1995.
Jackson began her collegiate playing career at Seton Hall in 2019-20, appearing in 82 games with 59 starts across three seasons for the Pirates. Jackson shot 39.4% from three-point range on 376 combined attempts during her three seasons at SHU, and averaged 10.0 points during her rookie campaign to earn a spot on the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team. Jackson helped lead the Pirates to the WNIT National Championship game in 2021-22.
Scouting the Pirates:
SHU is led by head coach Anthony Bozzella, who is in his 12
th season at the helm of the program. The Pirates compiled a 17-15 record in 2023-24, including an 8-10 resume against BIG EAST competition.
Seton Hall bested tenth-seeded DePaul in the first round of the 2024 BIG EAST Tournament before falling to second-seeded Creighton in the quarterfinals.
So far this season the Pirates are 7-2, including 6-1 at home. SHU hosted NEC side Wagner College on November 7, claiming an 84-40 victory over the Seahawks.
Seton Hall's only home loss of the season came against Princeton on November 21, with the Tigers claiming a 78-75 win over the Pirates at Walsh Gymnasium. Le Moyne will travel to Princeton for its final non-conference game on December 31.
During their last time out, the Pirates claimed a 67-46 win over Sacred Heart, who Le Moyne met in the 2024 NEC Tournament Championship game.
Graduate forward Faith Masonius leads the Pirates in scoring with 17.7 points per game to go along with 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals per contest. She is also averaging a team-high 1.9 offensive rebounds. Masonius scored a season-best 25 points during a loss to No. 6 University of Southern California on November 27.
Sophomore guard Savannah Catalon and graduate forward Yaya Lops are also averaging double figures for SHU with 13.1 and 10.1 points per game, respectively. Lops is also providing a team-high 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and is fourth among BIG EAST players with 1.44 blocks per game.
Catalon has scored at least 20 points in each of Seton Hall's last three games with a combined 14 three-point field goals on over 50% shooting from beyond the arc during the three contests, which have all resulted in SHU wins.
Graduate guard Amari Wrights leads all BIG EAST players in assists per game with 5.1 per contest, and she is third in the league in steals per game at 2.56.
As a team, the Pirates have an 8.0-turnover margin, forcing their opponents into an average of 21.4 turnovers per game while committing 13.4 turnovers per contest. SHU's turnover margin currently ranks 17
th among all Division I programs.
Seton Hall was picked to finish seventh out of 11 teams in the BIG EAST Preseason Poll, and Catalon was a Preseason All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention selection.

Following Saturday's contest at Seton Hall, the Le Moyne women's basketball team will play back-to-back home games against Colgate (Dec. 21) and Buffalo (Dec. 28) before closing out the month of December and non-conference play at Princeton on New Year's Eve.
