Bridgewater, N.J. – Le Moyne College senior Sarah Hutchings (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) has been named to the Northeast Conference women's lacrosse Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

She earned the honor after tallying a season-high six points on five goals, including the game-winner, and one assist in a 12-11 overtime victory over Stonehill on Saturday. Each of her final two goals broke ties with the final goal coming 1:01 into overtime.

Through seven games, Hutchings leads the Dolphins in nearly every offensive statistical category, including goals (12), assists (8), points (20), shot percentage (.632) and shot-on-goal percentage (.737). Amongst NEC leaders, she is seventh in both assists per game (1.14) and points per game (2.86).

Le Moyne (3-4, 2-0 NEC), which is one of two unbeaten teams in conference action, plays its first NEC road game of the season next Saturday at Merrimack College at 3:00 p.m.
