Bridgewater, N.J. - Le Moyne College senior Anita Jepchirchir (Eldoret, Kenya/The Kenya High School) and freshman Isabella O'Donnell (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) have been named the Northeast Conference Cross Country Athlete and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Jepchirchir and O'Donnell competed in the Daemen Alumni Invitational this past weekend. Anita led the way for the Dolphins on the five-kilometer course, crossing the finish line in a time of 19:26.0 and placing 4^th overall. Isabella earned herself an 8th place finish, completing the course in a time of 19:42.2.

Jepchirchir and O'Donnell were also named NEC Prime Performers for their contributions over the weekend.

Le Moyne will be back in action this weekend as they head to Rochester, N.Y. to compete in the Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday.
