Syracuse, N.Y. – A go-ahead three-point field goal from Sierra Linnin (Valley Cottage, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) with under a minute remaining in overtime during the Le Moyne College women's basketball team's 77-71 Northeast Conference victory over the Chicago State University Cougars on Saturday has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co., for the week ending on January 19.

With 1:03 left in the overtime period, Chicago State's Kace Urlacher knocked down two free throws to tie the game at 71-71. Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J./Ocean Township) brought the ball up the floor for Le Moyne, got free from her defender and sent a pass to the left corner for Linnin, who quickly released her three-point attempt with two defenders barreling down on her. The shot rattled in, giving the Dolphins the lead for good.

Linnin added a free throw with 23 seconds remaining, then Clark sank two shots from the line with 12 seconds on the clock to ice the contest and secure Le Moyne's first conference win of the season, and team's first victory under head coach Nick DiPillo.

Linnin's clutch three pointer was her seventh of the game, which tied the program's single game made threes record. The junior from Valley Cottage finished the contest with a career-high 28 points.

Haedyn Roberts (Holland Patent, N.Y./Holland Patent) and Brianna Williams (Brampton, Ontario/Southwest Academy/Hartford) each registered a double-double during the win. Roberts recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds against the Cougars, while Williams pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds to go along with 13 points.
