Syracuse, N.Y. – A goal scored by sophomore forward Nicole Calle (Providence, R.I./Cumberland) has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 
 
 
The 'Phins held a 1-0 advantage over the New Haven Chargers on Sunday with under five minutes remaining in the first half. Following a save by sophomore goalkeeper Mikayla McPheron (Rome, N.Y./Rome Free Academy), Le Moyne began a counter attack in the other direction.
 
The ball found the feet of graduate student midfielder Danielle Casey (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa), who played a looping ball over the top of the Charger defense, into the path of Calle. Nicole beat her defender to the ball, quickly chipping the ball over the rushing goalkeeper as the ball rolled into the back of the net for Le Moyne's second goal of the day.
 
The Dolphins went on to win the game by a score of 2-0.
