WILLIAMS AND DANIELS NAMED NEC SWIM & DIVE WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS

Syracuse, N.Y. – Sophomore diver Gabby Williams (Scotia, N.Y. / Scotia-Glenville) and freshman swimmer Owen Daniels (Rhinebeck, N.Y. / Redhook) have been named Northeast Conference (NEC) Swimming and Diving Weekly Award winners for their performances during Le Moyne's dual meet at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Williams was named the NEC Women's Diver of the Week and a Prime Performer for the third time this season after taking the top spot in the one-meter dive with a final score of 253.80 while earning second place in the three-meter dive with a score of 248.45.

Daniels earned the NEC Men's Rookie of the Week honors for the first time and was named a Prime Performer, as well, after finishing first in the 50-yard backstroke with a final time of 25.10 before taking first again in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.49. Daniels also took third place in both the 400 IM with a final time of 4:25.84 and as a member of the 200 freestyle relay, coming in at the 1:34.82 mark.

Along with Williams and Daniels, junior Adam Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y. / Hicksville) and sophomore Michael White Jr.  (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) were named NEC Prime Performers, as well.

Kaszovitz swept the men's diving events, earning first place in the one and three-meter dives with scores of 230.00 and 233.15, respectively.

White earned first place and set a new pool record with a final time of 1:34.76 as part of the 200 medley relay before taking the top spot in both the 100-meter butterfly (51.60) and the 100-meter freestyle, setting another new pool record in the latter with a final time of 47.70. White wrapped up the day with one more first place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, coming in at the 1:26.08 mark.

The Dolphins will compete next in another dual meet this Friday, Nov. 7 at 5:00 p.m. at home at the Rev. Vincent B. Ryan, S.J. Pool.
