Syracuse, N.Y. – A game-winning header scored by graduate student midfielder Danielle Casey (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) against Saint Francis has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.
 
 
 
With just over thirty minutes remaining in the first half, sophomore forward Alivia Day (Rochester, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) had the ball on the right wing before playing in a cross that was deflected out for a corner kick for the 'Phins.
 
Freshman defender Giana Cutuli (Mexico, N.Y./Mexico) stepped up to take the corner kick from the left side, as her in-swinging cross was met first by Casey, leaping over her defender and putting the ball off the right post and in to give Le Moyne a 1-0 lead.
 
The 'Phins went on to win the game by a score of 1-0 in Le Moyne's final match of the season.
