ELI CLARK NAMED NEC/ATLANTIC TOMORROW'S OFFICE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Bridgewater, N.J. – Women's basketball freshman guard Eli Clark (Oakhurst, N.J./Ocean Township) has been named the NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Rookie of the Week, per a release from the conference on Monday.

Clark becomes the first-ever Le Moyne women's basketball player to win the award after averaging 15.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds on 54.1% shooting from the field during the team's 1-1 week.

The rookie guard from Oakhurst, New Jersey provided 14 points, six assists and five rebounds in 42 minutes played during an overtime defeat against Saint Francis on Thursday, then she registered a season-high 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting with five assists and three rebounds to help the Dolphins erase a 16-point second-half deficit and record a 60-58 win over Mercyhurst on Saturday.

During the comeback win against the Lakers, Clark delivered 10 points and three assists in the second half as the Dolphins outscored the visitors 42-30 in the final 20 minutes.

Through nine conference games this season, Clark is averaging 10.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and is second in the NEC with 4.4 assists in 35.1 minutes per game.

She has scored in double figures on nine occasions this season, and has delivered at least four assists in nine games.

Clark was also named an NEC Prime Performer for the third time this season.

The Le Moyne College women's basketball team will begin a three-game road stand with a 7:00 p.m. contest at Wagner on Thursday.
