Syracuse, N.Y. - A three pointer with 4:07 remaining in the 2^nd half by redshirt freshman guard Deng Garang (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) against Saint Francis has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.



The Dolphins trailed the Red Flash by seven points after coming out of a Saint Francis timeout midway through the 2^nd half. Le Moyne responded by scoring 12 of the next 14 points to take the lead with 2:54 remaining in the contest. Garang started the charge with a three pointer, followed by two free throws by graduate guard Will Amica (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee/UAlbany), as redshirt-junior forward Dwayne Koroma (Berlin, Germany/Bishop Walsh (Md.)/Iona/Salt Lake C.C./UT Arlington) added a layup to Le Moyne's tally.

Saint Francis guard Riley Parker responded by hitting a three of his own, before Garang found himself open in the corner, receiving a pass from Koroma and sinking the three to give the Dolphins a 64-63 lead.

Le Moyne fell short of their comeback as Saint Francis went on to win the game 81-76. Garang was a shining factor for Le Moyne as he finished the game with a career-high 20 points.

The Dolphins are back in action Thursday night as they take on CCSU in New Britain, Conn.
