Syracuse, N.Y. – A wrap-around goal scored by sophomore attacker Mason Ciciarelli (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) against Detroit Mercy has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.


 
The Dolphins held a comfortable 7-4 lead going into the 4^th quarter of their conference matchup against the Titans. The 'Phins worked the ball around the top of the crease, as senior midfielder/attacker Ryan Eisenmann (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton) looked for an opening towards the net. Eisenmann hit redshirt sophomore attackman Thomas Berry (Tully, N.Y./Tully) on the right wing, quickly shifting it to Ciciarelli. Mason caught the ball behind the net, shifted to his left and fired a shot past the keeper for the Titans.
 
Le Moyne went on to win the game 8-5 to improve their record to 6-3 (3-0 NEC), as Ciciarelli and freshman midfielder Emmet McDermott (Pleasantville, N.Y./Pleasantville) led the 'Phins with 3 points.
 
The Dolphins are back in action Saturday, hosting conference opponent Wagner at Ted Grant Field.
