Syracuse, N.Y. - A two-run home run at the top of the 9th inning by freshman Tim Denet (West Harrison, N.Y./Iona Prep) against Maryland Eastern Shore has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co.



The Dolphins held a comfortable 5-1 lead at the top of the 9^th inning, looking to close out the game against the Hawks as Denet stepped up to the plate. With a full count and junior outfielder Tyler Campbell on first base, Denet took his chances with a full swing, hitting a home run to center field, giving Le Moyne a 7-1 lead in game 1.

Denet ended the day with a double on top of his two-run home run to end the day with a game-high three RBI's in addition to two walks.

The Dolphins return to action this weekend with a three-game non-conference series at UMass Lowell, with game one kicking off Friday at 3:00 P.M.
