Syracuse, N.Y. - A diving goal scored by graduate student midfielder Ethan Loun (West, Linn, Ore./West Linn) against Cleveland State has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by 'Phins Hospitality.



The Dolphins held a 9-5 lead over the Vikings with 4:00 remaining in the 3^rd quarter of play. After earning a successful clear, Le Moyne began to work the ball around the perimeter of the goal, patiently looking for the best option of attack. 

Eventually the ball made its way to junior attacker Owen Wilson (Latham, N.Y./Shaker), quickly switching the field to Loun on the right wing. Loun found himself in a 1v1 situation, feinting left before taking the ball behind the goal. Faking a pass back to the top, Loun made a swim move underneath the Viking defender before leaping full-stretch and firing a shot into the back of the net to give Le Moyne a 10-5 advantage over Cleveland State.

The Dolphins went on to win the game 11-6 and improve their record to 5-3, 2-0 in NEC play. Loun's goal was his 8^th of the season, while also adding an assist to his tally, making it six assists through eight games. 

Le Moyne is back on the road this Saturday to take on Detroit Mercy as action is scheduled to begin at 12:00 P.M.
