Syracuse, N.Y. – A one-handed lefty slam from fifth year guard Darrick Jones Jr. (Richmond, Va./Oak Hill Academy/Towson) in the second half of the men's basketball team's conference matchup at FDU on Thursday has been named the Le Moyne Play of the Week, presented by McNeil & Co., for the week ending on February 2.

With 18:20 remaining in the second half and the Dolphins trailing 44-39, redshirt-sophomore forward Nate Fouts (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles/Kimball Union Academy) held the ball for Le Moyne near the top of the key.

Jones moved from the right corner to the wing to set a screen for sophomore guard AJ Dancler (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport), then slipped towards the basket, accepted a pass from Fouts, planted both feet just outside the restricted arc, and threw down a left-handed slam to make it a one-possession game.

The Le Moyne College men's basketball team will return to action on Thursday evening at Saint Francis University in their third contest of a four-game road swing.
