Box Score

Garden City, N.Y. – Kaitlin Monteith had a hand in both goals to lead Adelphi University to a 2-0 win over the Le Moyne College women's soccer team on Tuesday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action at Motamed Field.

The Panthers scored the only goal they would need six and one-half minutes into the game. Mellissa Rubin sent a pass up the middle of the field and into the penalty box, where Monteith put a shot into the upper right corner of the net for her eighth goal of the season.

The Panthers closed out the game's scoring with 3:15 remaining in the contest. After Monteith had her shot saved by freshman goalkeeper Tori Corsaro (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool), Olivia Czavar collected the rebound and sent a shot into the left side of the net.

Corsaro took the loss between the pipes despite making 11 saves. Sam Whitney earned the win for the Panthers after making three saves. Adelphi registered a 22-5 advantage in shots, while recording 11 of the game's 15 corner kicks.

Le Moyne (2-8-4, 0-8-4 NE-10) closes out the road portion of its schedule on Saturday at Saint Michael's at 1:30 p.m.
