South Easton, Mass. – Le Moyne College freshman forward Rachel Terry">Rachel Terry (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer All-Conference Second Team, as voted upon by the conference's 15 head coaches and announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.
Terry, who was also the only unanimous selection to the All-Rookie Team, led the Dolphins with 20 points on nine goals and two assists as a starter in all 16 games she played. Terry is tied for sixth in the conference in goals scored and is seventh in the league in total points, while having the most goals and points in the conference among underclassmen. Terry, just the fourth Dolphin to land on one of the top two all-conference teams as a freshman, scored at least one goal in six contests and had multiple goals three times. The Northeast-10 Player and Rookie of the Week on September 16, Terry became the first Dolphin in over 12 years to record three consecutive games with at least two goals when she did so on September 7, 10 and 14. She scored the game-winning goal in Le Moyne's 4-1 win over Bloomfield, had the assist on the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win at Shepherd, forced overtime by converting a penalty kick with 3:50 left in a 3-2 overtime victory over Bentley and scored the team's only goal in a 1-1 tie with Southern Connecticut State.
The Dolphins finished the season with an overall record of 5-10-2, including a mark of 3-9-2 in the Northeast-10.
