ERIN MCMULLEN NAMED NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WOMEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mansfield, Mass. – Le Moyne College sophomore attacker Erin McMullen (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
McMullen, who earns her first career player of the week honor and her fifth career weekly honor (four rookie of the week last year), registered 12 points on 10 goals (on 11 shots) and two assists in Le Moyne's 2-0 week, while adding four ground balls and three caused turnovers. She recorded seven points on a career-high six goals (on six shots) and one assist in a 16-5 win at 16th-ranked University of New Haven on Wednesday, while adding three ground balls and two caused turnovers. She tallied five points on four goals and one assist in a 23-2 win over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday.

Through 10 games, all starts, McMullen has 36 points on 28 goals and eight assists, while adding 13 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. She ranks second on the team in goals and is third in points. She ranks 11th in the NE10 in goals and 15th in points, while her 21 goals in six conference games are the seventh-most in the league.

Le Moyne (10-0, 6-0 NE10), which recorded a 16-5 win over Assumption earlier in the day, is back in action on Saturday at Saint Anselm College at 10:30 a.m.
